Silvercast | Time control, the super power you don't know you have

Ever notice when it's boring you felt time passed so slow, but other times you saw it passed too quick? You know time is relative but you wish you know how to have some control over time. Good news: I can show you a few techniques to control the way time flows ! But first we need to have a right view on how time flows. Don't worry we won't have to go through Einstein's relativity theory, let's just start with some observations.

💡 Your time flow is different from others'. You and your friends are walking on the same street talking to each other side by side on a sunny day, but your perception of time is totally different from your friend's.

💡 Your own time flow can vary from one moment to another. It's because time perception is constantly changing too, which is impossible to stabilize.

💡 Such abilities like what you see in The Flash series may look cool but are nearly impractical and non-beneficial.

After realizing the above you find some of your own thoughts irrelevant or even ridiculous. The hope for slowing down the clock for you to complete something or speed up time for you while waiting is a waste of time, and only brings in negative emotions like anxiety or anger. Mind you, it's unwise to lose sense of time; I challenge you to run a big business without a calendar ;) also mind you, having more and more control on your own time only makes you feel that you have less and less time, even worsens your time quality ;)

Alright we can now proceed to the how section. My technique is one among others, I know some may have better ways so I'm open to learn from those if possible. I notice the superpower happens when I truly enjoy the now, the exact moment I am living and experiencing. In other words, my mindset and consciousness affect how my time flows. When I'm conscious but not forcing or trying to control how time flows, I will, paradoxically, realize I am able to control how time flows. I believe this technique can be practiced by many as it is quite simple, all you need to so is to be aware of what you are doing and the surroundings. I admit that I forget to apply the technique from time to time but hey it's ok; with a little self reminder I would feel contented even in difficult situations. It's more like adjusting your mindset and your perception, then time control is a by-product. If time control is the first intention it would be very difficult for you to proceed.

I hope this helps those who work too much with too little time. Some problems can only be fixed by shifting perception and I feel like time is one of them. Should you have any questions, don’t hesitate to drop me a message.
